The Hairdressing Council was set up in 1964 by an Act of Parliament. This meant that hairdressers can apply to become State Registered in the same way as doctors, dentists or nurses can. The only difference is that it is completely voluntary to belong to the UK Register of qualified hairdressers.

 Wendy Fach Hair & Beauty

Royston Open Secret 2011I am a Senior State Registered Hairdresser, International Health & Beauty council/Beauty International trained therapist. For over fifteen years, I have been successfully running a freelance Hairdressing and Beauty business on the Cambridge, Herts and Bedfordshire borders.

My success has been built on outstanding customer service and continual training with some of the leading names in the Hair and Beauty industry.  I attended a two day celebrity training workshop with Lee Stafford, Steve Turner, and Charley McGowen,( He provided all those wonderful ‘up-do’ hairstyles on TV’s Strictly Come Dancing ). I have also trained under the watchful eye of Stacey Broughton.

Stacey was previously the art director with the VidalSassoonAdvancedAcademy in Mayfair. I spend a great deal of time and money training with some of the best in the industry. Why? Because my customers feel and notice the benefits. Making sure I can offer the very best service to them is very important. The rewards to me are continued customer loyalty and regular recommendations, as well as the inspiration I gain from attending demonstrations from some of the top UK stylists.

More recently, I have been developing the holistic therapy side to the services that I can offer clients including Reiki, Hopi ear candles, and Hot stone and Lava shell massage therapy. I am qualified to Reiki Second Degree Okuden Level by Reiki Evolution.

One of my main aims is to help clients feel confident about the look we create and the health and well being of hair skin and nails. Feel good on the inside look good on the outside.

2012 has been just as exciting for me with Professional beauty at the Excell, Full of up to the minute advice and trade tips from leading names in the industry. Making sure I continue to offer a professional service to my clients.
